School of Evangelism
The School of Evangelism Advent conference is a week-long intensive programme in evangelistic training delivered by reflective practitioners with a national and international reputation.
Its aim is to equip those in Christian leadership to play their part in the re-evangelisation of the nation(s).
The Michael Green Lecture, 7.30-9.30pm on Monday 9th December at St Aldates. This memorial lecture (‘The Early Christians and the Mission of God’) will be given by NT Wright in the church where Michael was Rector between 1975-1987. All welcome.
The Wycliffe Hall Advent Carol Service ‘The Coming King’, 7.30pm on Wednesday 11th December at The University Church. All welcome.

Rt Revd Dr Prof. NT Wright
An English New Testament scholar, Pauline theologian, and retired Anglican Bishop of Durham, Professor Wright became Research Professor of New Testament/Early Christianity at St Mary's College in the University of St Andrews in Scotland until this year when he became the Research Fellow at Wycliffe.
Revd Dr Peter Walker
Former Associate Vice Principal, Wycliffe Hall.
Michael Ots was Minister of Evangelism at Lansdowne Baptist Church in Bournemouth for 5 years before becoming a travelling evangelist. He is passionate about sharing his faith through university missions in the UK and outreaches in Eastern Europe.

Prof. John Lennox
Professor Lennox is a British mathematician specialising in group theory, a philosopher of science and a Christian apologist. He is Emeritus Professor of Mathematics at the University of Oxford and an Emeritus Fellow in Mathematics and Philosophy of Science at Green Templeton College. He is also an Associate Fellow of the Saïd Business School and a Senior Fellow at the Trinity Forum.
Revd. Greg Downes
Greg is Director of Ministerial Training at Wycliffe College and Dean of The Wesley Centre for Missional Engagement. He was formerly Theologian and Missioner at St Michael le Belfrey in York, before arriving at Wycliffe in 2017. He has been a lecturer at the London School of Theology and, more recently, St Hild College, and is a member of the Archbishop’s College of Evangelists.
Revd. David Larlee
David Larlee is a Canadian who was ordained as an Anglican Priest in England, serving an inner city congregation in London for 10 years. He is now Vicar at All Saints’ Dallas, Texas. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Mount Allison University in 2000, a Masters of Arts from the University of Western Ontario in 2001 and a Bachelor of Theology from the University of Oxford in 2004.

An evangelist who serves as a Chaplain of Wycliffe Hall.

Parking is restricted at Wycliffe Hall but there are roads around the college you can park on for a limited period of time. Alternatively, you can use the car parks in the centre of the city or Oxford's Park & Ride service - see link below.
Wycliffe Hall is in a position just north of the city centre that is well served by buses with two bus stops directly outside the college. For more information on bus services refer to the links “Local Buses” below.
The main Oxford coach terminus is in the centre of the city at Gloucester Green and it is a 15-20 minute walk to the college. For more information on coach services refer to the various links below.
Oxford train station is just to the west of the city centre about 20-25 minutes walk to Wycliffe Hall. There are taxi ranks in the station that depending on traffic will cost about £5 for a fare to the college. For more information on train services refer to the link “Trains” below.
